Children's Christian Education

Grace Church utilizes a curriculum produced and distributed by the Episcopal Church, and also makes use of a weekly bulletin, The Sunday Paper, developed and distributed by Gretchen Pritchard in New Haven, Connecticut. All the Christian Education materials used by Grace Church are based on the Church's message of love and life as taught to us in the scriptures and carried over into the life of the Church today. God, our creator, loves us, invites us into wholeness, and calls us "very good." God's redeeming Son, Jesus, befriends us, teaches us, and calls us to be joyful people in the power of His death and resurrection. In presenting the Christian message, the two educational resources utilized by the teachers at Grace Church, convey basis Christian teachings, integrating the message through a careful balance of scripture, prayer, and life application.  The youth of Grace Church also take an active role in church services.

Adult Christian Education

During the course of most years in the life of our congregation, small groups of adults from will gather together for various lengths of time to study and discuss major Christian themes, challenging issues facing the church, and for bible study. In the last couple of years small groups have read and discussed the following books: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, Everyday Simplicity by Robert J. Wicks, and Touching the Holy by Robert J. Wicks.
