Grace Church is available for use by non-profit
groups that have projects and purposes that benefit
the community at large. Those wishing to use the
church facilities for special or occasional events
can contact the church
office and speak with the Rector. Groups
wanting extended/repeated use of the facility require vestry
approval. There is no fee for the use of the
building by outside groups, but donations are greatly
appreciated to help offset the costs of heating and
maintaining the facility.
Hands of Help
Many members of the congregation join "Hands of Help" (a Rice Lake
community organization) several times each year to provide an evening meal for individuals and families that are experiencing economic
hardship.
Community Connections
A number of members of the congregation gather at Bethany Lutheran Church on several Tuesdays during the year to prepare and serve the meal to individuals and families from our community that are experiencing economic hardship.
National Alliance for the Mentally Ill
Grace Church provides office space for the Barron County Chapter of NAMI, the National Alliance for the Mentally
Ill, and serves as host for their annual Holiday Banquet that is held in early December each year. Several members of the congregation offer their services and prepare the food for this delicious holiday meal.
